Your child’s safety is important
The Allen County Juvenile Center (ACJC) is among the finest juvenile detention facilities in the State of Indiana. The Indiana Department of Corrections (IDOC) annually audits the ACJC to determine compliance with numerous standards. The IDOC compliance rating for annual audits of the ACJC has been above 99.5% for many years. In addition, the ACJC must meet staffing requirements provided by federal law in which staff-to-child ratios must be maintained at all times. Your child is also kept with children of the same sex and in the same age range. Video surveillance is maintained around the clock at the ACJC. Finally, the ACJC has undertaken, voluntarily, the Performance-based Standards program (PbS) offered by the IDOC to become among the elite juvenile detention facilities in the country.
